Proper & Safe Sanderblaster Use
 
 

 

  1. Start with all valves closed.
  2. Fill with sand to the top seam.
  3. Before blasting put on all safety gear like hood, gloves etc.
  4. To seal off tank, pull up the ring closure .
  5. While holding up ring turn on main air valve.
  6. Open fully the nozzle end valve.
  7. Open fully the choke valve.
  8. Open the Nozzle valve - then - Slowly and Slightly open the sand mixing valve until it looks like a fine mist of vapor of sand coming out. If it surges and spits or clogs close the valve slowly till it quits spitting or clean out and start over.
  9. On damp & humid days the choke valve may have to be closed a little to put more pressure in the tank . Normal choke valve in fully open.
  10. Now you are ready to sandblast. Use 45 degree angle to work surface.
  11. If water clogs in valve it can be blown out by removing tip & open & closing valve.
